In each Major tournament, participants who submit thieir picks (at no cost) to the Founder’s pool will be eligible to receive points towards the MT Cup. These points will accumulate over the course of the four Major golf championships. For each event, based on the number of submissions there are, you will be awarded the reverse sum of the field. For example, if there are 100 participants in a given major, all 100 will receive the point value of their final position in reverse order. For example: 1st place = 100 points, 2nd place = 99 points, etc.

Each event will also offer 10 automatic qualifying playoff positions to the top 10 participants in The Founders pool. There will be 100 playoff positions, 40 of which will be filled by automatic qualifiers. The remaining playoff positions will be filled by participants who have acquired the most playoff points throughout the season – an example of the 2023 leaderboard is provided below.

The playoffs will take place over the course of the three FedexCup Playoff events. The 100 participants competing in the FedexCup will be cut to 50 in the BMW Championship, and 25 for the PGA Tour Championship. At each event, standings entering that weekend will be used to advantage top players by up to 20 strokes in recognition of their accomplishments to date.
